Lace
Beads
Numbered sticks
How to play:
Make two piles with the numbered sticks, one with numbers 1-10 and one 11-20. Mix up the order the numbers are in for each pile and ensure they are number side down. The aim is for the child playing to take 1 stick from each pile and add the two numbers together. Once they have the total ask them to thread that number of beads onto the lace. Alternatively use the lace and beads to assist with the counting by putting them on one by one.
